Past Regression – As more people today begin to believe in reincarnation. It is hard to decide the best way to start on the journey of remembering your past lives.

One good way to begin is to start taking notes on anything which might be a part of one of your past life. Write down everything which could be a clue – your emotions may be the best thing to track. Also take note of any phobias you have which seem irrational to you; these may be clues and your notes may start to show patterns which can tell you more about your past lives.

Begin your journal with a thorough and comprehensive description of yourself, from your likes and dislikes to your preference for one culture over all others, your desire for a particular climate, and even if you have a particular affinity to a certain period in history. Include information on your fears, your favorite food, animals that you feel drawn to, etc. It is important to be thorough as there is no such thing as useless information in this regard. Discuss your particular talents if you possess any and describe what they are. In short, tell your journal everything about yourself, about your personality and whether you experience things such as deja vu. Write it all down.

Your dreams also give clues in your past life. But keep in mind your dreams contain things from your present life as well but write it down anyway.

Past life Regression might be the way to go.

This involves a visit to a professional past life regression therapist. They are trained to guide you through the regression and then with your help interpret what information that came through. This technique involves the professional doing hypnosis. Sometimes this can be done by self-hypnosis.

Many people choose meditation as their preferred method.

When meditating there is usually no professional assisting and so many people find it difficult to trust the information they get during their sessions. But trusting your feelings as well as your instincts is necessary with meditation.

While meditation may feel like daydreaming to you, something of importance may come through as images start to flow through. Your journal maybe of help here too.

To help them reach a deep state of relaxation which they need for meditation, many people use a visual focal point such as a mandala, incense, music or all of the above. You can also find guided meditation recordings and recordings of relaxing sounds which can help you to attain a meditative state.

Binaural beats

Binaural beats are frequencies which can allow your mind to quickly reach the kind of meditative state which could otherwise take a considerable amount of time to learn. When you meditate, it should always be in a quiet place which is free of distractions. Try to relax your body and your mind completely.

Allow your muscles to release all of their tension and if there is a distraction, simply dismiss it and let it go. It can take some practice to become skilled at meditation, so practice regularly and don?t expect to be successful on the very first try.

This technique maybe of help in resolving issues in your current life. Some people have found that sometimes the people in their current life they have shared with a life with them before. In this way, you can do some research to verify the information received.

The concepts of past lives and reincarnation are an important part of many religions, with some even espousing the concept of Karma, in which your deeds (for good or ill) will affect your circumstances in your next life. Knowing what has happened in your past lives can assist you in getting on a better course in your current life.

When you want to experience past life regression, the most important thing is to come to the experience with an open mind, ready to accept the images and thoughts which may come to the surface. To make the most of the experience, you should also be open to the idea of using what you learn from your past lives to improve your current life.

Experts in past life regression say that being able to learn from your past lives is one of the greatest benefits of the practice. It is said by some that past life regression can also help you to overcome mental blocks which are negatively impacting your physical and mental health.

Helping in deal with things from the past that will help in making better decisions. If the regression brings out something you have done in the past that was less than kind, then suffer negative results from it then you know that you can’t do that in this life.

But past life regression can also help you to understand why you are the only artistic one in your family, especially once you have discovered that you were an artist in a previous life. You will be able to identify the talents you had in your past life and apply them to your current life, thereby enriching it all the more.

Overall, Past life regression sounds like a positive process to go through. It may give you insight to yourself even if you can’t accept it consciously.

Do you know there are many more individuals who do believe in reincarnation than there are that do not? For some it is a way of life as in the instance of Buddhists and Hindus, as part of their religious beliefs. While many may be merely curious or looking to explore answers to some of the mysteries of life, many others may consider that it just makes the most sense when considering past lives. There are various ways to find out more about your past lives.

Journaling Your Experiences

The way to successfully discover facts about your past lives is to write down your experiences in some kind of a journal. Describe in words things that take place and that happen, even when you think they are of little or of no significance. Make a note of your feelings as different emotions are more often than not the strongest clues we may get relating to past lives. You may find that all the notes you have taken are relevant to your past lives and fit together to make a bigger picture at some time in the future.

For those in search of answers, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to know that one can most often come across numerous clues if only you’re willing to search for them. An effective way of doing this is to draw up a list of all the things you like as well as all the things you don’t like. These lists could include a vast variety of things such as feelings towards certain cultures or religions or even particular foods which you may find to be important in your life. Additionally, personality traits such as your temperament, your talents and even your fears, are all gateways to further clues regarding a past life.

Of course it goes without saying that one shouldn’t overlook the value of dreams with regards to past life experiences. While it’s often taken for granted by many that dreams can provide clues concerning the future, one should realize that the clues we get from dreams can also relate to the present as well as the past. For this reason it is highly recommended that you record your dream as best as you can by writing them down. Another common practice of those in search of knowledge regarding their Past lives, is to suggest to themselves before falling asleep that they wish to recall memories from a past life. If after doing this you have a dream which you can remember, be sure to write down all the details as soon as you wake up.

Past Life Transgressional Therapy

The International Association for Regression, Research and Therapists, together with the International Association of Past Life Therapists, are both reputable institutes who train and certify professionals in this field and it is highly recommended that you consult with such a professional if at all possible. Not only are they able to guide you through the process of regression, but they are able to help you understand any information you acquire along the way. If you experience any difficulty locating a professional therapist, simply contact one of the above mentioned institutions who will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Meditation

Meditation is another method of exploring your past lives. This is a private way of discovering information about past lives and needs discipline when trusting your own instincts and feelings about received information.

While meditating may feel like a daydream, and images are flowing in and out, there may be some valuable information coming through. Write it all down and ponder it later. Likewise, if you tell yourself that you won’t be able to do it or you won’t get anything, you won’t. Your mind is very suggestible, and it will retrieve what you tell it to.

Some people meditate better using a visual stimulus, like a candle flame, while others find it easier to meditate with sound. This can be a recorded guided meditation session you get from a therapist or a certain piece of music or just sounds, like the “om” sound or Tibetan bells.

A relatively new development using sound technology has been shown to have very promising results. This therapy known as “binaural beats” is performed by playing sound waves in each ear but with slight variations in the frequencies. Current studies tend to suggest that a feeling of deep relaxation is instantly experienced, similar to that which is experience by Zen monk when they meditate.

Irrespective of which method suits you best, have a quiet and peaceful surrounding is of utmost importance.

Get yourself comfortable either sitting or lying down and ensure you are in a positive frame of mind. When things you do not want to think about enter your mind, acknowledge them and then let them pass. This may not come easily at first but with a little practice it will be second nature. Simply concentrate on nothing except relaxing and focus on your heart. Should any questions arise, ask them and then move on. You will discover the answers come to you when you are least expecting them.

The pictures you get in your mind will help you to determine something in your life whether or not you believe in reincarnation. Of course, you may not be sure the images are from a previous life but sometimes people are able to piece together sufficient information to carry out research and verify the names, places and occasions which have arisen.

Another thing often discovered is that those close to you now also played a part in your previous life, although the relationship may well be different. For instance, your father in your present life may have been your brother previously.

Perhaps you believe in reincarnation and perhaps you don’t but the fact remains, irrespective of what you believe, transgression is most often very helpful and certainly, extremely interesting.

When one considers that reincarnation is accepted in practically all religions including Christianity, Buddhism and Hinduism to name just a few, then we are forced to acknowledge the fact that the belief in past life is extremely far reaching. Surprisingly enough though, is the fact that while such vast numbers of people are interested in their past lives, only an extremely small percentage of these people want to study their past lives in order to improve the life they are living now.

Unfortunately, most of us are only interested in the happenings of our prior lifetimes due to curiosity. The will to change our present lives for good is what makes Past Life Regression (PLR) such a beneficial therapy.

Research has shown that Past Life Regression yields good results in the treatment of emotional problems. There is no doubt that you can make a positive change in your life by remembering your past life and the bad experiences you had in that time period..

Normally you would go to a professional on Past Life Regression for a hypnosis session, but you can do this through self-hypnosis also. Try simple affirmations to help you. You need your subconscious mind to accept that it is okay to remember your past lives as it is more normal for you to ‘block out’ these memories.

It is essential that before you begin on this road, that you are willing to accept certain things.

Past life is a part of our present life. The memory of events from previous lives is hidden somewhere in the unconscious that just needs some external help to bring it to life.

You cannot just know about your past life and expect your life to improve. You have to take the necessary steps to put this information to use before it will benefit you.

Being able to learn from mistakes made in a past life can by all means help you to avoid making similar mistakes all over again in this life.

Some people however, for various reasons find it impossible to believe in reincarnation. However Past Life Regression can be of immense help in either changing your life for good or helping in avoidance of commission of big mistakes in present life even if you think that all the events you remember are merely the results of a fertile imagination.

Whatever you believe, the experts still advise you to go through Past Life Regression because of two reasons.

*If you benefit from the lessons of such events by applying them to the present life, then these were indeed, the past life experiences.

*Even if you think these events are pure figments of your imagination, the cathartic release you may get from experiencing such thoughts may free-up your mind of something that is blocking your health, success, and creativity.

What benefits should you expect from Past Life Regression?

*It helps in healing the past emotional traumas that are wrecking havoc in our present lives.

*Self confidence, better judgment, determination and the ability to focus properly on the things that matter are all benefits of PLR.

*PLR can help to prevent you from unintentionally making the same devastating mistakes you made in a past life. These lessons can of course be from minor mistakes to incredibly serious mistakes.

*It helps in bringing to the fore the hidden talents and skills. There are certain talents you had in the past life that remain obscure in the unconscious mind of the present life. The acknowledgment and bringing out of such talents could change your life for good forever.

*Have you ever wandered where you get your personality from or why you are so emotional? PLR in many cases, allows us to find the questions to these answers.

Past Life Regression is certainly a win-win proposition for believers and disbelievers. If you want to make a positive change in your present life, it is definitely worth trying!

Hypnosis can be a mystical subject. Many hypnotists shroud it in an almost metaphysical aura. This can add power to the process in many ways. However, there are many people who are not receiving the benefits of hypnosis merely because they do not understand it and are fearful of its use. In this article I have outlined some basic fundamentals of the subject so that after reading it you can make a more informed choice as to whether it is right for you or not.

Click her to learn how to do hypnosis.

Hypnosis is older than you can imagine. It has been used for thousands of years. Hypnosis, or more accurately trance, is a completely natural state of mind which you move in and out of everyday. It is, in effect, an altered state of consciousness. You are neither asleep nor are you completely conscious or wide awake. A common illustration of this can be seen in the simple act of watching a movie.

If you are enjoying the movie then, albeit only temporarily, your conscious mind stops processing your immediate surroundings as you emerse yourself in the world that is being presented to you on the screen. If you did not enter into a light state of trance while watching such programmes they would not give the pleasure they do. You must "lose yourself" in the characters believing them to be real people in order for the film and plot to be entertaining. We all know how bad a film is when we just can’t make a connection with the characters, so we just don’t find them convincing – the movie loses its hypnotic power and no longer becomes entertaining! Hypnotic trance is really just a state of deep relaxation which creates, what are called alpha and sometimes theta waves in the brain. Sometimes a subject can be in a fairly deep state of trance without even knowing it, they merely think they are very relaxed. In very rare cases the subject thinks they just fell asleep!

Everyone can be hypnotized. However, all forms of Hypnosis are really self hypnosis. For in order to be hypnotized you must first be willing to hand over control to the hypnotist. Without consensual participation from a subject a hypnotist is virtually powerless. Having said that, it is extremely difficult to hypnotise a person who is very drunk, or has taken drugs (these people are already in a self-induced state of trance and directing them into a different altered state becomes almost impossible). In addition it is impossible to hypnotize someone who is adamant they don’t want to undergo hypnosis!

Hypnotherapy is a very specific form of hypnosis mostly used by health care professionals. As hypnosis is an extremely powerful tool for gaining access to the subconscious mind many emotionally created illnesses can be treated with hypnotherapy. In fact, as the medical profession becomes more aware of the role the mind plays in illness and healing, they have that some physical ailments, such as warts and skin disorders like eczema, can be successfully treated with hypnosis. Simply stated Hypnotherapy is an alternative therapy that uses hypnosis as a catalyst for creating inner change in a patient that may take months or even years of traditional therapy techniques.

Hypnosis is completely safe! It is just an efficient quick method for entering a deep relaxed, natural state of mind and body. There are no drugs involved, no unpleasant nor unwanted side-effects and it is in no way addictive. You just need a comfortable chair, couch or bed, a willingness to relax and let-go and a trained professional or professional recording to listen to.

You are always in control of yourself before, during and after a hypnosis session. If you are a particularly "good subject" you may forget the experience afterwards but during the hypnosis session you are always aware of what is happening! You cannot be made to do nor say anything that is against your moral or ethical codes not matter what Hollywood may tell you in "The Manchurian Candidate"! You will be able to hear everything that is being said to and everything that is happening around you. There are many people who actually become very sensitive to their environment. Their 5 senses become heightened and they are even more aware of the smallest of details while in trance. Of course you go back to normal upon "wakening".

The vast majority of people remember everything that was said to them by the therapist when the hypnosis session is over. In fact it’s a pretty good bet to say that everyone who reads this article will be in that group.

It is the job of a hypnotherapist to make you feel comfortable before, during and after a session so if, at anytime, you feel uncomfortable with what the therapist is doing or saying tell them to stop! In order to get the most from any hypnosis session you must be able to relate to the hypnotist or hypnotherapist and trust them. For this reason all reputable hypnosis professionals give a free consultation before you ever enter a trance state. Seek out a hypnotist you feel comfortable with and who makes you feel that they can get the results that you are looking for – after all you are in charge!

Hypnosis is merely a tool. It is a highly effective method for producing inner change that is permanent. I can understand that some religions forbid their followers to take part in anything that may cause them to lose control of their mental, emotional and conscious functions but believing that hypnosis or a hypnotist can do any of these things is just a misunderstanding of the process. Hypnosis in no way interferes with your free will. You will not do anything that is against your ethics. Under no circumstances will you ever do anything that is totally unacceptable to you or goes against your personal code of conduct. Neither will you do anything that is against your moral code or which feels wrong to do. If strutting around like a chicken would cause you serious embarrassment then you just won’t do it!

There is no danger of becoming trapped in a trance state. This is another Hollywood myth designed for entertainment purposes and has absolutely no basis in fact. The real fact is, you can terminate the hypnotic session at any time you wish just by opening your eyes and stretching! If a hypnotist, for any reason, were to leave you in a hypnotised state or a hypnotic recording stopped unexpectedly, you would either wake immediately or fall into a natural, light state of sleep and wake after a very short space of time – and this would only happen if you wanted to stay in the relaxed state!

The cost of hypnosis and hypnotherapy vary depending on your location, the popularity of the therapist, and the length and nature of the sessions you wish to purchase. Don’t go for the cheap option! Visit a few hypnosis centers. Take the free consultation. these consultations are designed so that you can make a choice as to whether the hypnotist is the right person for you or not. Its his/her job to convince you of that. A good start is to experience hypnosis through a carefully chosen tape, CD or MP3. By using a pre-made recording you can experience, in the comfort of your own home or office, the relaxing meditative state of trance and see whether it is for you or not!
